Each year, a Senior who has completed two years of a program, and has been a Student of the Month nominee, is selected for recognition as the outstanding student at the Center. The selection is based upon grade average, attendance, instructor recommendation, and personal interview. CACC selects an award winner for both the morning and afternoon sessions. The individuals who are selected as Student of the Year receive a scholarship, an individual plaque and the student’s name is entered on a permanent plaque, which hangs in the reception area at CACC.
