Week 6---- 4th Nine weeks

April 23 to 27, 2012

On friday 3 students will be competing for the SKILLS USA top State Diesel Mechanics Contest

 

Students are working on a new unit in Hydraulics.

Chapter 1 is being concluded this week  on hydraulic basics and chapter 2 started discussing hydraulic pumps.

 

Write out and Objectives and answer

Define Trade Terms:

Answer Trade term quiz

Take Tradeterm quiz

Take FOS Criterian Exam

Complete performance objectives

On weds students will receive training on bobcat and backhoe

On friday all students will take work keys on reading and math

 

1st Half of Period

Students are working hard to complete various tasks and certifications

2nd Half

Big Effort this week will be competing 6 stations for all students to compete in the FFA Chapter A Mechanics contest training program

Students will be working on their welding coupons ---

Including  OxyAcetylene-SMAW--MIG ---TIG ---Soldering

Students will be diagraming and constructing electrical circuits.

Work on Tractor Maintenance Project

Work on Generator

Work on Demo Caterpillar Engines

Complete various small engine projects

Students are required to complete a accurate log of activities which is due on Friday's
